About Us

Hi friends! We’re Nessa & Harrison, the creators behind Wachtel’s Whatnots; a small, community-focused 3D printing and design duo based on the South Shore of Massachusetts.

Our story started back in 2018 when Harrison began 3D printing on an Ender 5, spending countless hours creating fun and unique designs simply because he loved bringing ideas to life. In 2024, he upgraded to his dream printer; the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon and everything changed. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into something much bigger.

At the same time, I was already working as an ICU nurse while creating custom graphic-designed study guides to help nursing students and fellow nurses learn complex material in a more visual and approachable way. Naturally, I became curious about 3D design and printing myself. After many late nights, endless YouTube tutorials, trial and error, and lots of learning together, we started designing custom 3D printed products that could help make people’s lives a little easier while also making them smile.

Today, Wachtel’s Whatnots has grown into an 8-printer workshop where we create products for local craft fairs and fulfill orders for customers all over the world. We regularly work with local small businesses on custom projects, promotional items, event pieces, signage, bulk orders, and personalized creations tailored to their needs. But no matter how much we grow, our mission stays the same: Printing With Purpose. 

One of our favorite parts of running this business is creating whimsical, functional designs that bring smiles to people’s faces and help spark joy in everyday moments. We also love being involved in our local community through school raffles, charity giveaways, local 5Ks, and collaborations with community organizations and events. Supporting small businesses means supporting real people, real stories, and real passion; we’re incredibly grateful for every single order, share, and kind word along the way.
